Reach Higher Finish Line Scholarship
The reach Higher Finish Line Scholarship is available for adult Oklahoma resident students with 45 hours or less to graduate, a minimum 2.0 GPA, and that are enrolled in 3 hour with 6+ hours prioritized. FASFA completion is encouraged.

Don Gill Foundation Scholarship
2024 Don Gill Foundation Scholarship Application
Don Gill was a longtime resident of Seminole, OK and was an original member of the faculty of then Seminole “Junior” College. He served many roles at the college including Dean of Students and Speech instructor. Don was a long-time philanthropist in the Seminole community, best known for his work with the Inter-Faith Social Ministry’s food pantry and his membership with the local Rotary club. This scholarship is awarded in memory of Don and in his spirit of giving.
There will be 10 scholarships of $2,400 awarded ($600 per semester for 2 years). Students must have a financial need based on information from a current year FAFSA, must earn their high school diploma or an equivalent, must be enrolled full time at Seminole State College, must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and must not be participating in collegiate athletics. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA and will be required to submit their transcript and proof of enrollment each semester.
Faculty Senate Scholarship
Award: Provides up to $1250 per semester (fall/spring) that may be applied to SSC tuition, fees, or required textbooks charged through the SSC bookstore; SSC students who have completed 24 college credit hours may apply; recommendations and committee interview required; apply separately spring semester.
Professional Staff/Kay Edwards Memorial Scholarship
SSC students may apply for a $500 scholarship to be used during the Summer semester. Apply in the spring semester.
Classified Staff Scholarship
This award is $1,000 over two semesters ($500 for Fall/$500 for Spring), providing the student is enrolled full-time, funds may be applied to SSC tuition, fees, and/or required textbooks charged through the SSC Bookstore. You must apply/re-apply by April 15th each year. (Preference is given to SSC classified staff family members.)
