Need a computer for college coursework?
SSC Boren Library has laptops available for checkout to use for online or in-person courses at SSC.
Laptop loans are limited to students enrolled in at least 6 credit hours (this program is not available to concurrent students). Students will check out laptops on a semester-by-semester basis and may recheck laptops for up to one calendar year if they are consistently enrolled in at least six hours. Laptops will be checked out in good condition with a charger. Laptop loans will be limited to one per person. Students who check out a laptop will be required to complete a laptop loan agreement. Supply is limited. Laptops are loaned on a "first come, first served" basis.

SPRING 2025 LAPTOP CHECKOUTS: Laptop checkouts for the Spring 2025 semester will begin on January 13, 2025 during regular library hours. All students checking out a laptop must present a current student ID, provide proof of enrollmenet in a minimum of 6 credit hours, and sign a Laptop Loan contract at the time of checkout. Please allow up to 15 minutes for this process.
