Seminole State College will host an immunization clinic Sept. 28 in the Mirror Room at the E.T. Dunlap Student Union. The clinic will be available to all SSC students, staff, faculty and the public from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Immunizations will be administered by Passport Health of Oklahoma.
Available immunizations include flu, FluMist, high dose flu, pneumonia, Tdap, hepatitis A and B, MMR, meningitis, and HPV. Shingles immunizations are on back order and may not be available at the time of the event. If you do not have health insurance, you may receive a flu injection for $15. You may also receive a B-12 injection for $15. Cash, check, and credit cards will all be accepted.
“We are offering this immunization clinic to help keep our campus healthy during flu season,” Valarie Watts, SSC nursing program director, said. “Getting the flu immunization helps to decrease the chances of you getting ill if or when you come into contact with someone who has the flu.”If you are interested in any of the offered immunizations or the B-12 injection, you may sign up for a time by visiting passageware.com/ClinicSignUp/Seminole State College/.
