SSC to Host “Night at the Lights”

Seminole State College will host their annual “SSC Night at the Lights” event on Monday, December 3, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the community Snowman Wonderland Light Display showcased at Magnolia Park in Seminole.

Local families enjoy making crafts with SSC athletes at “SSC’s Night at the Lights” last December, an annual event that will be hosted again Dec. 3.

Community members are invited to come and enjoy the free event provided by the College. SSC student athletes will help children create holiday crafts. Live music will be performed. Hot chocolate, apple cider and cookies will also be available for those who attend.This community project features more than 150 colorful light displays along the walking trail east of the Main and Strother intersection. Viewing of the lights is free and open to the public. Tram rides will be available to tour visitors around the light displays.
