The Seminole State College President’s Leadership Class poses for a photo with Brent Kisling, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce (center), following the Seminole Chamber of Commerce Forum on Sept. 12. Kisling was this month’s featured speaker. He discussed attracting more businesses to Oklahoma and growing job sectors. Kisling was appointed to his position in January by Governor Kevin Stitt.
Following the Chamber Forum, the PLC toured the Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center in Tecumseh to learn more about the state’s Department of Corrections. COJC provides care, guidance, discipline, education, rehabilitation, and reintegration services for female and male youth between the ages of 14-19.
