Seminole State College placed second in Oklahoma Campus Compact’s annual Voter Registration Contest in the “Democracy” category. Over the 19-week contest period, SSC registered six percent of its student body. A total of 3,244 students at 21 institutions registered to vote during the contest.

The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education recognized the eight contest winners at their meeting on Dec. 6 in Oklahoma City.
