Seminole State College President’s Leadership Class members toured the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium on March 14 in Oklahoma City. Concessions and Special Events Manager Molly Greene (left) showed students the field as well as the USA Softball Hall of Fame and Museum.
While at the stadium, Lt. Gov. Matt Pinnell met with students and informed them about sports tourism in the state.
Students also heard from Dr. Tina Floyd (left), the owner of the professional softball team the OKC Spark. Dr. Floyd spoke about gender equity and opportunities in professional sports. SSC President Lana Reynolds (right) presented Dr. Floyd with an SSC softball shirt following the owner’s presentation.
