Seminole State College hosted its annual fall athletic cookout Sept. 25 at the college’s softball complex. Dozens of athletes, coaches and community supporters attended the event.

SSC currently has 154 student athletes attending the college. Oklahoma residents make up the largest portion of the group at 117 students. The second largest group is out of state students with 28 athletes from across the country, including Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Illinois, Iowa, New York and Florida. Nine international students, hailing from Brazil, England, Canada, France and Africa, make up the third and final group.

SSC President Lana Reynolds gave the welcoming address, and several coaches helped serve food to the student athletes.
