Seminole State College students may now enroll in five- and eight-week courses.
The first two five-week classes will begin on Saturday, Sept. 22, and will conclude on Saturday, Oct. 27. Courses offered include Speech and Learning Strategies. The following, and final, block of five-week classes will begin on Saturday, Nov. 3, and will conclude Saturday, Dec. 8. Courses offered include Introduction to Microsoft Office, Admin of Early Childhood Programs and Speech. All five-week classes will meet on Saturdays only, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The second eight-week classes will begin on Monday, Oct. 8, and will conclude on Friday, Dec. 7. Eight-week courses include Business Ethics, Medical Mycology and Parasitology, General Psychology, Speech and Medical Surgical Clinical I and II.
Those interested may enroll with their assigned advisor or in the Ben and Bonnie Walkingstick Student Services Building – a one-stop enrollment center, located just off Highway 9 on the south side of campus. Students must enroll before classes begin. Regular office hours at the College are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays; and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays.
