Seminole State College is currently enrolling for three different aquatic exercise courses to begin on Monday, August 12. Offerings include Aquatic Exercise, Arthritis Targeted Aquatic Exercise and Senior Aquatic Exercise.
Aquatic Exercise will be offered from 5:45 p.m. to 6:35 p.m. and Arthritis Targeted Aquatic Exercise take place from 1 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. Both classes will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays and will conclude December 6. Senior Aquatic Exercise is offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. This class will also conclude on December 6.
The cost for each course is $173 with discounts available for those ages 65 and older. Additional fees may apply to those enrolling at SSC for the first time.
All swim classes will be held in the indoor swimming pool at SSC’s natatorium in the Raymond Harber Field House. The climate-controlled, indoor facility allows instruction regardless of the outside weather conditions and without the dangers of overexposure to the sun.
Those interested can enroll by stopping by the College’s Office of Admissions in the Walkingstick Student Services Center located just off Highway 9 on the south side of campus. The Admissions Office can also be reached by calling 405-382-9230.
