SSC Class Enjoys Drone Demonstration

Captain Ken Vanduser of the Pottawatomie County Sherrif’s Office (center) demonstrates how law enforcement utilizes drone technology to Adjunct Instructor Dee Vanduser’s Intro to Sociology class on the Seminole State College campus Nov. 15. SSC Students Attend Student Government Fall Congress

Seminole State College Student Government Association members (left to right) Tijah Johnson of Shawnee, Brittney Moore of Seminole, Allyson Sing of Tecumseh and Ryleigh Lane of Seminole attended the Fall Congress Session for the Oklahoma Student Government Association at Tulsa Community College’s Metro Campus last week. The students came away with a greater understanding of state government and participated in a number of legislative exercises.

SSC Nursing Students Awarded AllianceHealth Seminole Scholarship

Alex Dickson and Francisco Bustos-Hernandez, nursing students at Seminole State College, each recently received a $1000 AllianceHealth Seminole Women’s Volunteer Auxiliary Scholarship. The auxiliary, also known as the “Pink Ladies,” is a volunteer organization dedicated to assisting the hospital and patients.
