The Seminole State College Women’s Soccer team finished in second place at the NJCAA Region II Finals in Miami, Oklahoma last week.  SSC Women’s Soccer Coach Dan Hill was recognized as Region II Coach of the Year for the team’s outstanding season play.

Several players on the team were honored for their overall season performances. Yudaya Nakayenze was named Region II Player of the Year. She was also named to the All-Region Team, alongside three more of her SSC teammates: Lauren Ramon, Giselle Longoria and Riley Pfannenstiel.

Nakayenze, Longoria, Alexis Davis and Kanasa Spybuck were named to the All-Tournament Team, which recognizes high performers during the tournament itself.
