Seminole State College Head Baseball Coach Mack Chambers was recognized for his 200th career win at the helm of the Trojans on April 7 at Lloyd Simmons Field.

During a pregame ceremony, Trojan sophomores Kendall McDowell of Dallas, Texas, and Wilfred Gonzalez of Miami, Florida, presented Chambers with a commemorative engraved bat signed by the 2025 Trojan Baseball Team. SSC President Lana Reynolds and Board of Regents Chair Curtis Morgan followed with a plaque presentation on behalf of the College.
Chambers, a native of Spiro, Oklahoma, has served as the Trojans’ head coach since the fall of 2018. He played two seasons with the Trojans before being selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 42nd round of the 1992 MLB Draft. After three years of professional baseball, he began his coaching career, which now spans over two decades.

Chambers currently holds an overall record of 222-117 and has led the team to back-to-back NJCAA Region II Tournament championships in 2023 and 2024. Following the pre-game recognition, the Trojans clinched their ninth consecutive win with a 13-6 victory over Dallas College Brookhaven.
Fans in attendance enjoyed complimentary hot dogs grilled and served by members of the Seminole State College Educational Foundation Board of Trustees.
