The SSC women’s soccer team, softball team and baseball team all competed in NJCAA tournaments over the weekend. This marks the first time in the College’s history where three major sports teams competed at the exact same time for regional titles across the state. The women soccer’s team competed in Enid, the softball team competed in Muskogee and the baseball team competed in Woodward.

The First Semester, the Last Semester, and the 20 Years in Between
Michelle Mayfield took the path her family expected of her when she graduated from high school in 1992. She enrolled at Seminole State College that fall. She planned to complete her degree, find a career, settle down, and carve out a life for herself. However, she quickly discovered life rarely sticks to the plan.

Seminole State College held a small private ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday for the new Virtual Learning Lounge on campus. Located in Room 100 of the David L. Boren Library, near the campus Food Pantry and the SSC Help Center, the old classroom has been repurposed to provide space for students to study and connect for online instruction.
