Avedis Awards Grant for Brian Crawford Memorial Sports Complex
The Avedis Foundation has awarded a $250,000 grant to the Seminole State College Educational Foundation’s sports complex project for the addition of an adaptive field for persons with special needs. The adaptive field, designed specifically for special kids and adults, will be the first of its kind in the State of Oklahoma. The Seminole State College Educational Foundation welcomed four new trustees during their quarterly meeting on Oct. 21. Former Oklahoma State Senator Jason Smalley of Stroud, Darren Frederick of Seminole, Haley Coates of Seminole and Rhonda McKee of Prague have all been selected to serve as members on the Foundation Board.
