SSC to Open Food Pantry for Students This Fall
Seminole State College is preparing to open a food pantry for students this fall. The College is currently gathering non-perishable food items and monetary donations to ensure its inventory will meet student needs.

Retired SSC Vice President Lends a Hand as Classes Begin

Former Seminole State College Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Mark Ames, along with several other college retirees, helped guide new students last week during SSC’s extended office hours. Dr. Ames retired from the College in 2016. Enrollment at SSC remains open through Friday, Aug. 16.
Classes Begin at SSC

The first day of the fall semester brought a flood of new students to the Seminole State College campus on Aug. 12. Faculty and staff organized their annual “First Day Experience” and set up stations around campus to welcome students and pass out snacks and bottled water. SSC Offering Enrollment Hours on Saturday

Seminole State College is offering special hours this Saturday, August 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Representatives from admissions, financial aid, the business office and the bookstore will be available on campus to help students enroll and prepare for the start of the fall semester. Free SSC t-shirts and popcorn will be available to those that enroll. Fall classes begin Monday, August 12. Those interested in enrolling should visit the Walkingstick Student Services Building on campus, or call 405-382-9230.
SSC Announces Expected Graduates
