SSC President’s Leadership Class Attends Chamber Forum

SSC to Open Food Pantry for Students This Fall

Seminole State College is preparing to open a food pantry for students this fall. The College is currently gathering non-perishable food items and monetary donations to ensure its inventory will meet student needs. 

In order to sustain the availability of food for students, SSC has partnered with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. According to the Regional Food Bank, Oklahoma is the sixth hungriest state in the United States. Continue reading “SSC to Open Food Pantry for Students This Fall”

President’s Leadership Class Embarks on Scavenger Hunt

Sophomore members of the Seminole State College President’s Leadership Class welcomed freshmen PLC members to campus on Friday as part of a special orientation session prior to the start of classes. Checking Out Campus

Sophomore PLC helped the freshmen members get acquainted with campus during a photo scavenger hunt Friday. SSC Offering Enrollment Hours on Saturday

SSC Recruitment Specialist Britney Honsinger visits with two students during this week’s special extended enrollment hours on campus.

Seminole State College is offering special hours this Saturday, August 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Representatives from admissions, financial aid, the business office and the bookstore will be available on campus to help students enroll and prepare for the start of the fall semester. Free SSC t-shirts and popcorn will be available to those that enroll. Fall classes begin Monday, August 12. Those interested in enrolling should visit the Walkingstick Student Services Building on campus, or call 405-382-9230.
